O Brave Hearts
O brave hearts lay down In the town of the clown Where we hear singing tunes to the old kings While jesters laughing in tune stings O brave hearts fall to the crown On the days when their hearts become brown Their eyes making up stories to tell Their hearts jumping in joy like a singing bell And these days are when we ask ourselves Whether we can put the brave on bookshelves To hide the glory Of a made story O brave hearts lay down Lay down once again to make us all frown For once the day the king is dead Is when your brave hearts are finally laid to rest on its head...
Sonoran Sands
Sonoran sands beneath the sun, Fanged machines undo the one. Techno-lords with silvered hands Rend the desert, scar the lands. Hands unbound reclaim the seed, Life survives where death decreed. Chains of womb and soil they bind, Turning birth and root to grind. We toil, we watch, and yet endure, Our blood and flesh remain obscure. Nature waits with patient breath, Silent witness of our death. Endure, O earth, endure, O flame, All false kings take blame
